Kensuke Office Take the Dream 2012 in Gifu

January 21, 2012 – Gifu, Japan

This was the main event of the final Kensuke Office show, before the changeover to Diamond Ring.

Kenichiro Arai, Kazunari Murakami & NOSAWA Rongai vs. Kensuke Sasaki, Yutaka Yoshie & Kento Miyahara
Somehow I was more excited for Arai’s match the day prior, with Fujita Jr. Hayato in there instead of Rongai, and a babyface side that was more appealing too. Rongai and Miyahara start. Miyahara hits a big boot. He hits a dropkick. Yoshie tags in and nobody wants to fight him. Rongai can’t do anything to him. Yoshie hits a bodyslam. Murakami hits a big boot, but that knocks Yoshie onto Rongai for 2. Arai kicks Yoshie in the corner, but that causes more squishing for Rongai. Yoshie hits a splash on both of them. Sasaki comes in and shows Arai he’s foolish for getting into a chop exchange. Arai goes to the eyes. Not so foolish after all. Sasaki exposes Arai’s chest and hits Machine Gun Chops. Murakami and Sasaki trade chops. Miyahara works over Murakami in the corner. He hits a dropkick to the head. Murakami stands on Miyahara’s chest in the corner. Rongai hits a head kick for 2. He and Arai make a wish. Arai sends Miyahara to the floor. Murakami hits huge chest kicks on the floor. Rongai works the arm. He puts on a crossface. Arai chokes him with his wrist tape. He misses a diving headbutt but hits an elbowdrop and keeps Miyahara in the ring. He hits a big boot. Miyahara hits a vertical suplex. Sasaki cleans house. He hits Arai with a facebuster. He puts on the Strangle Hold Gamma but Rongai makes the save. Arai hits an awful DDT and a neckbreaker. Murakami hits a clothesline. Sasaki returns the favor. He hits Rongai with a powerslam. He hits a lariat for 2. Yoshie hits a splash. Sasaki hits the Northern Lights Bomb for 2 when he breaks his own count. He hits a lariat for the win at 17:16. The first half of the match had a cute story, with the heels outsmarting the babyfaces because they couldn’t match their power. The second half was dull and lazy.
